Who we are
The Spring Park Surgery Center, in Davenport, Iowa, is a fully accredited* Ambulatory Surgery Center providing efficient, high quality surgical services in a friendly environment. Initially providing only urology surgical services, we now are a multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center. Spring Park Surgery Center was developed with the strict guidelines required for Medicare certification, with an ongoing Quality Assurance program. *(We are accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc.)
We are Iowa's first office based ambulatory surgery center,
established in 1986. Conceived by four urologists as the answer to the need for a separation between inpatient and outpatient surgery, the center combines the quality care of top medical professional with a warm, homelike atmosphere. Formally called the Uro-Surgery Center, we have expanded to include more than urology and are now called the Spring Park Surgery Center. Our current medical staff includes Urology, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Neurosurgery.
Patients who don't require hospitalization for their surgical procedure will find Spring Park Surgery Center convenient, comfortable and less expensive than hospital surgery. Our experienced personnel are here to help you. Please feel free to ask any questions we may not answer here.
The Quad City Regional Kidney Stone Center, at the same location, provides non-invasive
lithotripsy treatments of kidney stones.

The Procedure - What Will Happen?
Spring Park Surgery Center provides an education center equipped with videotapes and printed materials to acquaint patients with the basic surgical procedure they have planned. A professional staff member will explain the procedure in greater detail, while the doctor is easily accessible to answer addtional questions. The surgery is performed under the care of experienced, board certified specialists, fully informed in the use of the most sophisticated surgical equipment.

After Surgery
Following surgery, patients follow a two-stage recovery process. The wake-up phase takes place in a recovery room similar in equipment and personnel to a hosptial recovery room. The second stage of recovery offers the patient a relaxed, homelike environment where family members join them to assist in the recovery process.
