Emergency/After Hours Instructions
Call your doctor at 563.359.1641, or go to your nearest emergency room. Many urgent problems can be handled at our offices, saving patients the time and expense of visiting hospital emergency rooms.
Urological Associates, P.C., in conjunction with Spring Park Surgery Center and the Quad Cities Regional Kidney Stone Center, is capable of providing expedited treatment to patients with sudden or urgent urological difficulties. One phone call to 563.359.1641 or 800.456.0407 will connect you to a staff member (or answering service after hours) who will direct you to the facility most capable of handling your immediate needs. In most instances, we will be able to spare our patients the time, hassle, and expense at hospital emergency rooms and urgent care centers. After hours, the Physicians' Exchange will answer and contact your urologist. If they should fail to answer, call the Physicians' Exchange directly at 563.322.1416 and ask them to contact your urologist.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
Getting a Prescription Refilled
Our practice is committed to the safety, security and accuracy of your prescriptions. As a result, we have begun using electronic transmission of prescriptions as the primary method for prescribing your medications. If your preferred pharmacy is enrolled in the network of pharmacies that receive electronic transmissions, your prescription may be sent in this manner instead of being printed or hand written. If your prescription was sent electronically, refills for it should be requested through your pharmacy instead of contacting our office.
Call our office, and tell our telephone operator what test results you have not received. She will notify your doctor, and he will call you with the results.
